Bai Mu Dan (White Peony), spelled as Pai Mu Tan. A grade down from Bai Hao Yinzhen tea, incorporating the bud and two leaves which are covered with a fine, silvery-white down. From Fujian Province, China. White Peony undergoes natural, slow ambient drying. This makes the tea soothing and gentle. It is sometimes preferred by white tea drinkers for its fuller flavor and greater potency than the other major type of white tea

The nose is warm, floral and rich like fruit blossoms. The liquor is golden and bright. Clean, succulent floral-fruit flavor and rounded mouthfeel. It's a great introduction to white teas.
